where our coffee comes from

(and why it matters).

we admit it. we're pretty picky when it comes to our beans. that's why we partner with farmers in Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Rwanda, Honduras, and Peru — most who grow on 2-5 hectare farms, often passed down through generations.

but it’s not just about great soil.

our farmers are selected for their commitment to people, planet, and progress. we pay premiums for responsibly sourced green coffee, provide tools to help grow their businesses, and fund programs that improve livelihoods.

in fact, many of our partners report higher yields and profits than their peers. that’s the kind of impact that makes us feel all warm and caffeinated inside.

our coffee guru

Michael is one of our certified SCA Q-Graders, the coffee world’s version of a sommelier. he helps us select only the best green coffee, free from flavor flaws and full of character. half of his joy comes from working with farmers who share our love of quality and care. the other half comes from drinking coffee non-stop.

why we roast slow

(and why your taste buds will thank you)

while some brands race the roast, we believe delish comes to those who wait. our slow-roasting method at lower temperatures coaxes out complex notes and eliminates the burnt, bitter edge you’ll find in over-roasted (less than happy) coffee.
